I've always wanted to create spaces that honour craft, nature, and quality

I spent time at Limeburn Hill, a biodynamic vineyard in the UK, during harvest — and it changed everything. Watching what it takes to build a great wine sustainably, with care for the land and patience for the process, I understood something no textbook could teach: the best wines aren't just made. They're grown, tended, and earned.

I'm Christine. I spent years in tech across Singapore and London — but sustainable, intentional travel was always where I was headed. Beyond Prestige Wine is built around one belief: that the finest experiences should leave a place better than they found it.

Every wine tour, harvest experience, and private tasting I curate is designed around Portugal's most responsible producers — from century-old quintas in the Douro Valley to natural winemakers in the Alentejo, farming in harmony with the land.

Each autumn, Portugal's finest quintas come alive with the harvest. Vindima is a private, all-inclusive wine tour through Porto, the Douro Valley, and Lisbon — designed around sustainable producers, responsible travel, and once-in-a-lifetime access. Guided by Christine and Ryan Opaz of Patamar Select, author of the New York Times Best Wine Book Foot Trodden, with 20 years of relationships across Portugal and Spain's wine country.
